Strap on your shin guards and hide your My Little Ponies, because we’re welcoming our second guest into the Pod Loft! This episode our child/adulthood friend Elena uses an appropriate amount of jazz to tell us about her ADHD diagnosis journey and the co-morbidities that came with it, the challenges of being a Speech-Language Pathologist when you have ADHD (or even if you don’t), and her most helpful tips for managing ADHD without meds.
In the second half, it’s nothing but giggles as we trade traumatic Pizza Secrets about each other, harmonize to Raffi songs (remember Raffi?), and bring back the classic segment: How Did No One Catch This? Finally, Elena teaches us about the art of crocheting (a.k.a. the Ms. Getchell’s class of knitting) and absolutely obliterates us with her professionally trained bird cries–we may never recover from this.
