Ep. 28: Nephew Knife Fight ft. Haley, Pt. 2
Thursday Jul 28, 2022
Thursday Jul 28, 2022
Hide your childhood stuffies and leave the Dunkaroos at home, because Haley’s back in the studio, and this time she’s here to cause some ruckus.
In this spoOoOoky segs-only episode that’s just in time for the season, our guest-turned-host Haley takes us for a spin through her revolving door of ADHD quirks before leading us down into the graveyard of her many abandoned hobbies and giving us a chilling warning on how to avoid the same fate.
Then, we’re 3 rowdy nephews as we metaphorically and literally spit uponst those who have wronged us, bully our weaker counterparts into submission at snack time, and take down the establishment one middle school trombone teacher at a time. If you thought you learned some things in the first half, well get ready to do the opposite in part 2 of our ADHD-packed conversation with Haley.

Ep. 27: Doing Our ADHD Best with Haley, Pt. 1
Thursday Jul 21, 2022
Thursday Jul 21, 2022
It’s hotter than a family trip to D.C. out there and we’re all a little fussy, so let’s just get this proverbial minivan on the road. And no, we are not stopping for ice cream, so stop asking.
This episode we have finally lured our childhood BFF and former Mrs. Getchell student, Haley, into the Pod Loft to share her personal journey with inattentive ADHD. Join us as Haley talks about the importance of understanding your ADHD brain and forgiving yourself, how her own struggles growing up have become her greatest strengths as a teacher and a parent, and the value in making your own fun everywhere you go, even at the phlebotomist’s office. No, especially at the phlebotomist’s office.

Bagel Bite #7: Hustlin’ for the Cheddar Biscuit
Thursday Jul 07, 2022
Thursday Jul 07, 2022
Rise and grind, bitches, because we’re bringing you a hot little Bagel Bite that nobody asked for and we expect it to be completed first thing tomorrow morning, we don’t care if it takes. all. night.
For once in our ADHD lives, we’re way ahead of schedule and recorded this Bagel Bite before a handful of unelected senior citizens took away our human rights with the overturning Roe v. Wade, otherwise you know we would be ranting about that instead. But for now, we’re diving into some of the many other reasons why America is the wooOOoOorst it’s the worst: productivity culture and unchecked capitalism.
Along the way we’re sprinkling in debates over deep sea vs. deep space exploration, discussing Dark Forest Theory, Kristin finds a smell, and more.

Ep. 26: Bucket-Sized Carcass Collection
Thursday Jun 30, 2022
Thursday Jun 30, 2022
Don your night goggles and get to digging, my fellow neighborhood freaks, because we’re coming to you live from the ditches of Route 3 with one hot and fresh carcass of an episode, and you know we can’t bury this thing alone.
If you were upset by rat kings, then strap in, John, because this episode we’re taking Hobby Collectors to a whole new level of nightmare. In a segment straight out of Hozier’s wet dreams, local ghoul woman Grace is taking you down into her vulture lair to teach you about the in(nards) and outs of animal bone collecting. She’ll tell you what materials you need, how to get started, and explain why anyone would want to do this in the first place.
Then, to liven things back up, we’re sharing devastating ADHD quirks, childhood movie traumas (Kristin still can’t eat a peach without screaming), and mischievous Pizza Secrets from our youths that we’re almost sorry about, but not quite.

Ep. 25: Burnout Solidarity
Thursday Jun 23, 2022
Thursday Jun 23, 2022
Polish up those boogie boards and tell your boss “SEE YA” because it’s time to get pitted (so pitted) in this totally tubular anti-capitalism tidal wave of an episode.
Burnout brothers Grace and Kristin are coming in hot to teach you all about the ADHD burnout cycle–what it is, why it happens to us, and what the heck you can do about it. Kristin passionately preaches her pro-union agenda and gives you permission to disassociate as long as you’re drinking your water, while Grace bullies you into taking your sick days and gives some tips on healing your nervous system that are annoying but you know she’s right.
With advice ranging from “set better boundaries at work” to “just burn down a building it’s not that hard,” we have a little bit of something for everyone. Unless you’re a metaphorical Todd and then you can GET THE HELL OUT OF HERE TODD. Fucking Todd.

Ep. 24: Hiking Into Kazoo Season
Thursday Jun 16, 2022
Thursday Jun 16, 2022
Fill up your camelbacks and don’t forget the bear spray, because we’re coming to you live from the side of a dangerous mountain to give you all our best tips on day hiking. Tip number one: never record a podcast from the side of a dangerous mountain, it’s not safe and frankly, it’s just bad podcasting.
This episode, Kristin educates us on best hiking practices and shares what she’s learned from hiking all throughout Maine and around the United States, while Grace butts in with her tips on how to pack for your sensory needs and ADHD hiking mistakes to avoid. Then, it’s nothing but goofin’ as we share our current hyperfocuses and divulge piping-hot Pizza Secrets, one of which sends Kristin into an emotional spiral.
Come suckle at this lil’ teet of an episode, where the knowledge you’ll gain far outweighs the sacrifice of having to hear us say “suckle at the teet.”

Ep. 23: Filling the Void
Thursday Jun 09, 2022
Thursday Jun 09, 2022
Well, the reviews are finally in and it’s official: the critics can’t get enough of us. “Definitely unique,” gushes Grace’s chiropractor Abby. “I can see how some people would like it,” raves a surgeon at Kristin’s hospital. “Your mom told me you were starting a blog?” inquire many of Grace’s family friends.
Despite the well-deserved accolades, we aren’t letting newfound fame go to our heads. This episode, we’re humbling ourselves with our silly little Quirks, such as ghosting important doctor's appointments and binge-eating bread loaves, and lifting our spirits back up again as we woot-woot our impressively mundane Lil’ Accomplishments.
Plus, you can release that baby’s breath because we’re symbolically inviting Christopher back into the Pod Loft and finally playing you his Hobby Collectors segment all about clay sculpting. Much like the platypus, this episode is a bit of a hodgepodge that, in the end, just may turn out to be one of God’s greatest creations.

Bagel Bite #6: No Box, Just Bishop
Thursday May 12, 2022
Thursday May 12, 2022
Don your confession robes and prepare your barfing buckets because we’ve got a surprise bishop of an episode for you that’s sure to bring up some deep-seated religious trauma. What fun!
This Bagel Bite, Kristin shares her silly little habit of Exorcism anxiety barfing and reveals her newfound devotion to the Fanny Pack, while more-than-last-minute Grace gives some ill-advised ADHD life hacks and reluctantly joins team Foam Shoes.
We’re also announcing that we will be taking a mini workcation to get our butlers in order before they rise up against us. They may be shitty but they’re all we have, so unfortunately we are hostage to their demands. We’ll return stronger than ever after the Mercury Retrograde, and in the meantime, enjoy this sillysode ya turkeys.
